Hi, my name is Kai Davis. I currently live in Eugene, Oregon, with my girlfriend Anne. For fun and income, I work in the Marketing department of IRIS Educational Media, own and operate a Marketing Consulting company, play poker, and throw pottery.

2010: Ongoing.

2009: I Co-Manage a student government political campaign with my friends. We (mostly) win. I rename The Weekly Enema to The Comic Press and grow the staff to 15 students and community volunteers. I Graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in Economics. I step down as the Publisher (and Owner) of The Comic Press. I start working at IRIS Educational Media in the Marketing department. I found my own Marketing Consulting company – Look Shiny.

2008: I continue at the University of Oregon and start a bi-weekly humor newspaper – The Weekly Enema – and grow the staff to 5 people before Summer starts. I quit playing Magic: The Gathering and close down Magic Buylist.

2007: I continue at the University of Oregon and switch my major to Physics, then Economics, then Math, then back to Economics with a minor in Business. I continue playing Magic: The Gathering and qualify for the Pro Tour. In Japan. I visit Japan and have a great time exploring Yokohama.

2006: I continue at the University of Oregon and switch my major to English and then back to Business.

2005: I continue at the University of Oregon. I keep playing Magic: The Gathering and operating Magic Buylist.

2004: I get my first semi-serious girlfriend. We’re together for two years before breaking up in flames. I graduate from South Eugene High School and start at the University of Oregon as a business major. I proceed to take no business classes, but make $30,000 profit operating Magic Buylist.

2003: I start my first business (Magic Buylist) buying and selling Hobby and Gaming supplies at conferences and conventions with an emphasis on Magic: The Gathering. I run this out of my parent’s garage for 5 years.

2002: I get my first job as a Lifeguard. It isn’t horrible and I spend most of the Summer in the sun and swimming. I start playing Magic: The Gathering.

2001: I see Armageddon and decide to become an astronaut.

1999–2000: I start going to public school (Spencer Butte Middle School) and end up taking all advanced / high school level classes. I join the drama club and appear in a production of Grease and Twelfth Night.I graduate and go to South Eugene High School.

1993 – 1998: I continue being home-schooled and enjoy it. Life is great!

1992: My parents, disappointed in the Oregon public schools, opt to home-school me. I spend my days reading, exploring, and learning at a natural pace. I start taking classes at WISTEC, the non-profit science museum, and studying Jazz and Classical piano. I’ll continue playing piano for 13 years.

1991: My brother is born. I develop a love for reading and a need for glasses.

1990: We move to Eugene, Oregon.

1988–1989: No footage found.

1986: Hello world. Born in the middle of an Oregon winter in a home birth in Walton, Oregon, on 400 acres of forest.
